Chapter 50
“So you sure you ready for this?” Slump asked Tee. The two of them and Stone were sitting in the parking lot of Hytop Club for twenty minutes before they saw Red and Money pull up and go in.
“Yeah, I’m ready. I been waiting a long time for this.” Tee said putting on a pair of black leather murder ones. “I ain’t never been in this good of shape. Not even when I got out of prison.”
“Yeah kinfolk. You do look like some type of action figure.” Stone said trying to lighten the mood.
“So you sure this is how you want to do it because I still say we follow these niggas home and make them kiss the fucking baby.”
“Nah Slump. I really want to punch on this nigga again. Besides, when he dies, I told Jazz she would be there to watch.”
“Well fuck it then. Let’s get ready to rumble.” Slump said smiling.
“Yeah! Round two!” Stone said as they got out of the rental. “Only this time. It ain’t none of that one on one shit.” The three of them made their way to the door.
“Oh shit. It can’t be.” Jack said looking at the tv monitor as Slump, Stone, and Tee came into the club. It had been three years since he last saw them but he still remembered the ass whooping they gave Red and Money and with that thought, he knew what they were here for. Rushing out of his office, he tried to talk them out of doing anything crazy in the club tonight.
“Hey fellas. Long time no see.” He said walking up to them.
“What’s good Jack.” Slump said.
“I don’t know. You tell me.”
“We just came to talk to some old friends.”
“Well from the way he’s looking. It can’t be no good news.” Jack said pointing to Tee.
“Don’t play stupid. You know why we are here.”
“Look man. Don’t do this up in my club. Here, come on. Let me buy ya’ll a drink.”
“Fuck your club and drink nigga. Now you can do one thing and one thing only” Tee said.
“What’s that?”
“Go to fucking sleep.” Tee said hitting Jack with one of the hardest right hooks he ever felt. He was sleep before he ever hit the ground. Red and Money not missing any of it made a break to the back door of the club.
“They are running out the back door!” Slump said trying to make his way through the crowd.
“Let them run. They know we are here now.” Tee said grabbing Slump.
“What about him?” Stone said pointing to Jack who was trying to pick himself up.
“Help him up. He’s gonna tell us how to find them niggas.”
“C’mon Jack man. Shake that shit off.” Tee said helping him to his feet.
“What happened? Who hit me?”
“That ain’t what’s important. But how do we find your boys? Let’s go on back to that office of yours and have a little talk.”
“I don’t feel safe going back there by myself with him.” Jack said pointing to Tee.
“You won’t be alone with him.
